I'd really like to try my hand at paranormal because I love it. I'd probably have to self-pub it though, every editor I know is sick of it. lol. And I'm not against giving erotica a whirl either. It would all fall under the romance heading though. I must have an HEA. :)Sutton Foxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12945431786788856207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787245562709558745.post-46394104596560749842011-09-12T21:53:04.801-04:002011-09-12T21:53:04.801-04:00I think it depends on the person and the genres th...I think it depends on the person and the genres they want to write. Mine fit together pretty nicely: SF/F and YA SF/F. But if it's children's books and erotica, then I can see the need for a pen name.

Which genres are you writing in?Aubriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10884036126491922530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787245562709558745.post-26034491180779274742011-09-09T15:37:19.233-04:002011-09-09T15:37:19.233-04:00Hi Sonya and Rebecca! Great to see you.
I feel t...Hi Sonya and Rebecca! Great to see you.

I feel the same way. If it's an author that I like, and she writes in more than one genre there's a good chance I'll check out her other work.

It doesn't seem like as big a deal as it used to be. But maybe I just want it to be that way to save myself having to deal with mulitiple websites, etc.

Thanks for stopping by. And I'll post the decision when it's made. :)Sutton Foxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12945431786788856207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787245562709558745.post-56190798858538242452011-09-09T14:15:53.397-04:002011-09-09T14:15:53.397-04:00I agree with, Sonyna. I've been mulling over the idea for a few years but haven't been able to put it all together. Let me know what you decided, because I'd really be interested.

Have a Sparkling Day!Rebecca Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01313697921324813986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787245562709558745.post-55503291386103067312011-09-09T14:03:30.587-04:002011-09-09T14:03:30.587-04:00Speaking from the reading side of it, I read multi...Speaking from the reading side of it, I read multiple genres and actually prefer an author to use one name or at least be open about their pen names - that way I can find their other work. From the writing side of it, I don't know what I'd do. Maybe use a pen name if I was writing something radically different, which for me would be erotica. But even then I'd probably still be open about having work under another name.Sonyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01351929216915547602noreply@blogger.com
